Almost 90% of U.S. high schools offer dual enrollment (https://bit.ly/3G0m2go). Students are increasingly taking advantage of opportunities to earn college credits while still in high school. However, the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act applies differently to students in secondary schools versus students in postsecondary institutions.
