Abstract

We compare s-wave N/D amplitudes with 1 left-hand pole with a recent K-matrix fit to the low energy K̄N data. The isolated solution does not agree very well with the fitted K-matrix but much better agreement is obtained if a CDD pole is added. In this solution the Λ (1405) disappears if the CDD pole is removed. We also point out the effect of the CDD degrees of freedom on the K-matrix and show that there has been some misunderstanding of the situation.
