Abstract
DNA is the carrier of genetic information and the material basis of gene expression. The flexible formations and their biological functioning have attracted increasing attention. This review highlights some recent progresses in the fields of DNA interactions with ruthenium(Ⅱ) polypyridyl complexes and their applications in DNA structure recognition and regulation, DNA photocrosslinking, cellular imaging and antitumor.
