Abstract

AMERICAN ASSOCIATION FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF SCIENCE MEETINGWASHINGTON, D.C.-- This year's meeting of AAAS (publisher of Science ) from 17-21 February addressed the nexus of science and society. A study found that a difference of a single amino acid within the protein target of a drug commonly prescribed for heart failure may determine whether the drug works.
