Abstract

A tetrahedral DNA nanostructure (TDN), a novel type of DNA nanomaterials, is able to regulate chondrocyte phenotype and promote chondrocyte proliferation, as presented in article number 1602770 by Yunfeng Lin and co-workers. The regulation of cell phenotype is related with down-regulating the Notch signaling pathway. This discovery sheds light on the potential of TDNs in future medicine, especially cartilage regeneration.
