Abstract
Introduction: Gallbladder cancer (GBC) is a highly aggressive malignancy of the biliary tract with poor prognosis and very dismal survival rates. DNA methylation is a key epigenetic reprogramming mechanism that plays a vital role in carcinogenesis. In this study we investigate the functional role, epigenetic change and its mechanism of RUNX3 in GBC.
