Abstract
BASF have recently introduced a diurethane thickener for use in aqueous‐based polymer dispersions. The thickener, known as Collacral PU85, finds use in eggshell gloss paints, indoor paints and coloured aggregate finishes. The following report examines the thickener's influence on the chemical and application properties of these paints.
