Abstract

The crystal structure of the title salt, dithiobis(formamidinium) bis(hydrogen sulfate), C2H8N4S2 2+·2HSO4 −, is built up from dithiobis(formamidinium) cations and hydrogensulfate anions. The anion is an almost regular tetrahedron. In the crystal, the anions and cations are linked by O—H...O and N—H...O hydrogen bonds, generating a three-dimensional network.
