Éditer Augustin dans la «Bibliothèque Augustinienne» : l’exemple des Commentaires des Psaumes

Abstract

This paper aims to account a new edition of Augustine’s Enarrationes in Psalmos, with a french translation, in the Bibliothèque Augustinienne series, since 2009. During thirty years Augustine has commented the 150 Psalms by preaching or writing. One exposes scientific principles and choices of this ambitious publication which throws a new light on historical, theological, philosophical, rhetorical and exegetical issues of this huge and very influential Augustine’s work.
