Abstract

Signs of autonomic neuropathy (abnormal E/I-ratio) were more frequent ( P < 0.05) in diabetics with vasospastic reactions to cooling than in those without, and in spite of identical blood flows at plethysmography the toe temperature (40 min after cooling) was only 25.4°C in those with abnormal E/I-ratio, while it was 28.3°C in those with normal E/I-ratio ( P < 0.05).
