Abstract

Exploiting the moving horizon strategy, we provide in this paper a solution of the constrained L2-gain attenuation control problem that is less conservative than a recently suggested switching approach based on off-line co ntroller computations, The main advantage of the presented scheme is its capability of automatically relaxing or tightening t he performance specification in order to obey hard control constraints while achieving the best possible per onnance in a suitable class of LMI-generated control gains.
