Abstract

Under this name a collection of materials on the study of the work of medical workers was published. The collection contains the following articles. V. P. Khesin, M. S. Panpulov and F. L. Golike examined the sanitary and hygienic working conditions, workload and work regime, the budget and some issues of the life of district health workers of the Moscow province. The sanitary and hygienic examination was reduced to the usual sanitary description of the hospital and work premises. The workload and work regime were determined by means of a chronocard with records of the distribution of working hours and shifts, records of the work actually performed during working hours. To find out the nutrition, records were kept during 7 days of the inspector's stay in this area and transferred for a month. The rest of the questions were clarified by questionnaire. As a result of such a survey, the authors find that the sanitary and hygienic working conditions in a number of district hospitals are unfavorable. It is noted that all groups of health workers have overwork, which should be eliminated not only by increasing the staff, but also by rationalizing work. Attention is drawn to the insufficient nutrition of the nursing staff and the small living space. The surveyed areas give a favorable picture in relation to the radius of the service area. Away work in them is generally not great.
