Abstract

AbstractSulige gas field is a typical representative of strong heterogeneous tight sandstone gas reservoirs in China. Its reserves are abundant. With the development of the gas field, all the development blocks under its jurisdiction are used. At present, it has entered the stable production period of development. How to maximize the remaining reserves in the later period and ensure the long-term stable production of the gas field are the most important things. Studying of remaining reserves, defining the distribution types of remaining reserves in gas fields and formulating corresponding technical development strategies can provide a basis for later technical tapping and fracturing of the gas fields. To solve this problem, this paper taked the Sulige gas field as the research object, the paper analyzed and studied from four factors of development well pattern, well pattern combination, reservoir transformation degree in later stage and strong heterogeneity characteristics of reservoir itself, summed up nine types of remaining reserves distribution, and defined the technical development strategies of well pattern infilling, well group optimization, side-track horizontal wells in old wells, formation checking and hole filling, and repeated fracturing. The technical development strategies are effectively utilized in the Sulige gas field and the good development results have been achieved, it can support the long-term stable production development of the Sulige gas field and the secondary production of Changqing Oilfield, and can be used for the reference for the development of other similar gas reservoirs.KeywordsHeterogeneityTight sandstone gas reservoirRemaining reservesDistribution typeTechnical development strategiesSulige gas field
