Abstract

Intelligent distribution network contains multiple flexible resources such as distributed generation, energy storage and demand response. This paper proposes the distribution system security region model considering flexible resources. The security operation range of the system is described. Firstly, the load and distributed generation are regarded as the served objects of the system, and the operating point and state space are defined. Secondly, taking the energy storage and demand response as the regulation means of distribution network, the normal operation security and N-1 security of the system are discussed. The security region model is established. Finally, the model is verified by a case study, and the application of the model is shown. The distribution system security region model can conveniently evaluate the security of operating points, intuitively reflect the effect of flexible resources on system security, and show the cooperation of different flexible resources.
