Abstract

With the rapid development of electric vehicle industry, electric vehicle (EV) charging has posed a great challenge to the dispatching operation of power system. In this paper, the problem caused by the unpredictable charging behavior of electrical vehicles are studied. In order to compensate the effect brought by EV charging behavior, a method is proposed in this paper, which can minimize the cost of EV fast charging station (FCS) and in the meantime, it can ensure the safe operation of distribution system. Last, the model is tested and verified on a real world distribution system topology using data from a real world FCS.
