Abstract

Over 28% of the total land area of Australia is sodic and it is likely that over 50% of arable land has sodicity related problems. Sodic soils present structural, nutritional and potential related problems. These soils disperse leading to massive erosion, pollution of the water ways and extensive waterlogging.
