Abstract
Measurements of copper, lead, cadmium and zinc were determined using the differential pulse anodic stripping voltametry technique in a marine industrialized area, the Gulf of Fos, near Marseilles. Results show an important contamination of the whole area, with particularly high values near the coast. Comparing our results with those of the literature, we see that the Gulf of Fos is probably one of the most polluted areas in Europe.
