Abstract

Different parameters of the X-ray line profile were determined for 1009 orientations of the normal to reflecting planes by texture measurements using a position-sensitive detector as applied to rolled metal materials. Distributions of the relative deviation Δd/d av of interplanar spacing along normals from the average weighted level d av with signs «+» or «-» were constructed in the stereographic projection on the basis of measured values of the peak position 2θ(φ,ψ). Modes of the equilibrium of residual microstresses within the studied volume of the sample manifest themselves in characteristic features of these distributions. Most often the distribution of lattice elastic deformation shows a cross-wise character, consisting in alteration of the predominant sign of Ad by passing from one quadrant of the stereographic projection to another.
