Abstract
X-ray analysis and Mossbauer spectroscopy were used to study the distribution of iron atoms in Fe-Mn alloys isostructural to β-Mn and to determine the iron concentrations in the positions 8(c) and 12(d) of the β-Mn structure in alloys of different compositions.
