Abstract

The brightness temperature distributions of the solar atmosphere in the polar region at the distances from one to two solar radii during the solar activity minimum are reported. Observations of the maximum phase of the solar eclipse of March 29, 2006 were carried out simultaneously on two sectors of the RATAN-600 radio telescope over a wide range of centimeter waves, 1–31 cm. This study is based on a comparison of models and observations carried out on the northeastern sector of the RATAN-600.
