Abstract

A study of solid materials suspended in the continental shelf waters of Côte d'Ivoire during periods of low-water, mark the swelling of continental streams. These indicate, on the one hand, that the suspended materials are mainly of continental origin and on the other hand, a source of nutrients for the silty muds, after having been submitted to the influence of general hydrological conditions.
