Abstract

Transportation problems relate to the distribution of goods from several sources to several destinations. Usually has a number of capacity goods from each source and a number of capacity needs of goods from each destination. The main problem in the allocation of product distribution is how to make the product pass certain routes, from sources that provide products to destinations, so that costs incurred can be minimized to a minimum. The purpose of this research is to minimize the cost of distributing laptops at PT. IT Master uses the initial Least Cost solution followed by an optimal solution using the Stepping Stone method. The results obtained with the combination of these transportation methods were IDR 51,425,000.00.
