Abstract

Angular distribution of protons p 1 feeding the first excited state of 12B and p 1− γ angular correlations have been measured in the 11B(d, p) 12B reaction at a bombarding energy of 700 keV. These results can be made to agree with a simple Butler theory, but a comparison with the previously measured angular distribution of the 955 keV γ-rays shows that the plane wave description is inadequate.
