Abstract

The distribution of pyrenyl amphiphiles Me 3 N + (CH 2 ) 5 CONHCH(CH 2 Py)CON(C 18 H 37 ) 2 Br - mixed in bilayer membranes of Me 3 N + (CH 2 ) 5 CONHCH(CH 2 Ph)CON(C 18 H 37 ) 2 Br - was studied by using excimer fluorescence of pyrenyl chromophores as a probe.
