Abstract

There are some problems such as uncertainty in the output of renewable energy such as wind and light, and deviations between energy prediction and actual demand in the integrated energy system (IES) with high penetration rate of renewable energy. Energy storage is an effective solution to the above problems way, but excessive energy storage capacity will lead to economic decline of the integrated energy system, and less will lead to insufficient overall regulation capacity of the integrated energy system. Based on this, electric and thermal energy storage devices are used to participate in IES optimal scheduling, and the combined output threshold of source-charge-storage is used to measure the effect of source-charge-storage cooperative operation in IES, then a source-charge-storage matching index was proposed in this article. An optimization model with the goal of minimizing the running cost of the integrated energy system with electricity / thermal energy storage equipment under the constraint of matching degree is established by this index. Calculation examples show that the proposed indicators and models can effectively reduce the system operation cost and improve the level of renewable energy consumption.
