Abstract

A game theoretic solution for distributed uplink resource allocation in multi-cell OFDMA systems is presented in this paper. Convergence rule and steady state characterization are analyzed with potential game. Simulation results show that the proposed non-cooperative potential game algorithm for dynamic subcarrier and power allocation can converge to Nash Equilibrium (NE) quickly and achieve higher energy efficiency compared with pure iterative water-filling algorithm.
