Abstract

A general software tool to realize the visualization of the DIS (Distributed Interactive Simulation) Environment is developed. By this method, a human-computer interface, which can be easily extended and automatically generated, is obtained. It can be adapted into different types of simulation. The requirements for visualization of the DIS are presented. The specifications of the software tools are analyzed and its model is given. The standards of VRML (Virtual Reality Modeling Language) for the visualization norm are analyzed. VRML is extended on the nodes and net interface for DIS. The modeling and realization of the interface browser is discussed.
