Abstract

In this paper, a distributed inter-network power control scheme for WBAN called D-NCG is proposed which aims at solving the interference problem among WBANs. The proposed D-NCG power control algorithm not only realizes the fairness of WBAN users, but also reduces the interference between networks which is based on non-cooperative game and through rationally designing the cost function and the utility function parameters. The existence and uniqueness of the Nash equilibrium in D-NCG is proved. Simulation results show that higher priority user’s throughput is larger and it ensures the effectiveness of communication with larger sending power. But with the increase of cost factor c, the final throughput does not reduce, where a revelation can be obtained: when the number of WBAN users is small, throughput can be guaranteed by appropriately increasing the value of c in the cost function, which also leads the degradation of the sending power.
