Abstract

Based on the analytical solution of the current integral equation and the distributed radiation resistance solved by the method of moments in this letter, a distributed equivalent circuit model of dipole with the consideration of radiation characteristics is proposed. In terms of current distribution and energy conservation, the analytical solutions to the distributed parameters of dipole are compared with the solutions of electromagnetic simulator and circuit simulation software, and the correctness and effectiveness are verified. The result showed that the distributed equivalent circuit model can compensate for the problem of indistinct distributed radiation characteristics and improve the process of antenna design effectively.
