Abstract

Resource allocation is a typical problem in cyber–physical systems. However, how to achieve the fast allocation in a distributed way while saving the communication resources is still a challenging problem. In this paper, a novel resource allocation strategy is proposed by applying a dynamic event-triggered scheme and a time base generator. Different from the existing works, the proposed strategy simultaneously enjoys three advantages: (1) It can be implemented in a fully distributed manner; (2) The convergence time can be predesigned by the user; (3) The communication resources can be economized by the event-triggered mechanism. These advantages are shown by our theoretical analysis and numerical simulations.
