Abstract

We consider the control of a linear, time-invariant plant via a distributed output feedback. The feedback consists of a set of controllers: each determines the input it applies based on its own measurements as well as the measurements received from other controllers. In this work, we assume that the communication between the controller is unreliable: some measurements sent over the network are lost. For this setup we outline the design of linear output feedback controllers such that they minimize a quadratic performance criterion. Examples illustrate the approach and its applicability.
