Abstract

This paper concerns the interconnection of heterogeneous systems as the basis toward distributed control systems. The aim is to introduce the principles of a virtual automaton. Considering the approaches used to design and control a classic automaton, the virtual methods are an an extrapolation of these methods. All this is considered in this paper in terms of influences and consequences on the low level built on the interconnected networks.
