Distance Profile Chart As A Method Of Assessing The Neighborhood Of Groups

Abstract

The article presents an original method of determining the neighborhood between groups, called the Distance Profile Chart (DPC). The presented method allows determining the distance between groups, which can be helpful in searching for similarities between groups, additionally providing information about the direction in which the neighboring group is located. The article presents the idea of the method itself, as well as the analysis of sample data sets using the Distance Profile Chart.
