Abstract

This article focuses on the concept of «distance learning». This concept has been studied by many scientists and researchers. The purpose of the study is to identify this phenomenon which is very relevant in teaching today. Particular attention is paid to the advantages and disadvantages of this type of learning. The platforms that allow for distance learning are presented. We have revealed that this learning has an innovative form. The results of the study can be used both in practical pedagogical activities and in further research on the feasibility of using distance learning forms in modern language education. Thanks to the introduction of innovative technologies, distance learning is becoming popular.
