Abstract

Embryonic chromosomal trisomy is recognized as a leading cause of reproductive failure and pregnancy loss in human reproduction. Interestingly, specific trisomy’s have differing implantation potential and only a handful of trisomies (chromosome 13, 18, 21, X and Y) will even develop past the first trimester. The aim of this study was to investigate the association between the embryonic transcriptome and a range of embryonic trisomy with differing implantation potentials.
