Abstract

Inheritance law, one of which is the Lampung Saibatin customary inheritance law and batak customary inheritance. Lampung customary inheritance law is still used among the Lampung indigenous people, the Lampung saibatin indigenous people use a patrilineal inheritance system in which the heirs are drawn from the paternal line, by naming sons as their main heirs. The formulation of the problem of comparing the division of the heritage of the Lampung Saibatin Indigenous Peoples with the Batak Indigenous Peoples research method is juridical sociology in this case the father as the head of the family has the right to decide absolutely who is the heir in the division of inheritance. The indigenous people of Lampung also have high heirloom inheritance that can only be passed on to the eldest son.
