Abstract

Evidence for the heritability of personality and intellectual dispositions is presented. The magnitude of genetic influences as well as evidence for the partial congruence between genetic structures and the structure of individual difference measures provides evidence for a science of individuality that is biosocial. Therefore, the metatheoretical structure of Eysenck's paradigms is mandated by our knowledge of genetic influences on individual differences.
