Abstract

Amorphous metallic magnets, spin glasses, and dense magnetic nanoparticle systems are systems where interaction between magnetic moments cause collective magnetic ordering in spite of disordered atomic or particle structure. Such disordered structures provide various model systems for fundamental research and can form the basis for both soft and hard magnetic materials in applications.
