Abstract
A joint consideration of the anomalous ionograms registered on board Mir spacestation (and interpreted as ionospheric irregularities with sharp lateral gradients) andmacroirregularities of the ionosphere detected by ground-based ionosondes. A hypothesisis proposed and analyzed that these irregularities detected by two principally differentmethods have a seismogenic nature.
