Abstract

“Carbon peaking” and “carbon neutralization” are major strategic decisions made by the CPC in coordinating the international and domestic situations. Electric energy substitution, as the main form of clean energy utilization, is one of the core paths to make the achievement the goal of carbon neutrality in China. This paper reviews the development process of electric energy substitution at home and abroad, and summarizes the challenges faced by China in promoting electric energy substitution. In view of the lack of theories and analysis tools in the current path planning of electric energy substitution, a macro micro coupling comprehensive evaluation model framework of electric energy substitution is proposed: first, a typical industry database is built to provide a basis for the analysis of electric energy substitution in various industries; second, the shared social economic paths (SSPs) scenario parameters will be localized in China as the output of social and economic development scenarios; third, the technical parameters will be localized to achieve the calibration of micro parameters; the fourth is to couple macro and micro markets and establish a dynamic feedback and two wheel drive mechanism The research will help to improve the theoretical system in the field of electric energy substitution and provide scientific methodology support for the stable and orderly implementation of electric energy substitution.
