Abstract

In their comprehensive paper, Badel et al. (2007) present a constitutive model for anisotropic damage and apply it to the FE analysis of progressive damage in a large concrete containment structure. The present discussion focuses on the constitutive model (Sections 2-3) and especially on Section 3.8.
