Abstract

In his paper, Banks (2011) discusses the possibility of deriving an exact analytical solution to the hydraulic travel time along a flow line of his well-doublet scenario. The solution is given as follows, providing a general solution for the (hydraulic) travel time, t t, along the x -axis from any point to an abstraction well (or from the injection well to any point on the x -axis).
