Abstract
With the increasing construction of municipal projects, the new construction technology has a great development space. Pipe jacking construction technology is gradually formed on the basis of a complex environment. The article firstly introduces the overview of the water pipeline project of Chengdu city beltway, then elaborates on the basic principle of pipe jacking construction, related types and advantages and disadvantages, and finally discusses the causes of safety risks and countermeasures in the process of pipe jacking construction, in order to provide a reference basis for effective implementation of the pipe jacking construction technology and safety risk control in the construction process.
