We have been working in this area of geophysics for ten years now, and we still constantly find ourselves confronting sceptics who don't think electromagnetic geophysics has anything to offer. Usually this scepticism is due to prior experiences that did not offer any benefits such as having a survey run in which the interpreted results were at best marginal, or sometimes completely wrong, or being sold on a concept by a contractor where the results didn't live up to the initial description. Usually this is due to the lack of sophisticated interpretation schemes, although bad data can contribute in some instances. It is from this perspective that we have written this letter to voice our concerns about the aforementioned paper, and get them in print in hope that the authors will reanalyze their results.FiguresReferencesRelatedDetails Volume 3Issue 2Jun 1998Pages: 49-100ISSN (print):1083-1363 ISSN (online):1943-2658 publication data© 1998 Copyright © 1998 The Environmental and Engineering Geophysical SocietyPublisher:Environmental & Engineering Geophysical Society HistoryPublished Online: 30 Sep 2008Published in print: 01 Jun 1998 CITATION INFORMATION (1998), "Discussion on: “Imaging Underground Structures Using Broadband Electromagnetic Induction” (A.
