Abstract
The discussers note the importance of the research in its value-added field data for a laterally loaded pile in liquefied soil. To provide a useful comparison to the behavior observed by the authors, the discussers have used the Strain Wedge Model (SWM) for analysis of the 0.61-m diameter CISS pile in liquefied soil.
