Abstract In the following section, J.L. Crolet discusses “Numerical Simulation of Crevice Corrosion of Stainless Steels and Nickel Alloys in Chloride Solutions,” by M. Watson and J. Postlethwaite, published in the July 1990 issue of Corrosion on pages 522 through 530. Watson and Postlethwaite respond to Crolet's comments in the section following Crolet's discussion.
