Abstract

The acquisition and reversal performances of 5 juvenile gorillas in a discrimination-reversal task were found to correlate highly and positively. Number of acquisition trials (7 and 13) influenced the frequency with which the various pre-reversal mastery levels were achieved, but did not otherwise influence reversal performance.
