Abstract
Evidence is presented which demonstrates that the T lymphocytes which suppress humoral and cell-mediated immunity in CBA/H mice differ in the cell surface structures they express. The suppressor T cells of delayed-type hypersensitivity are Ly-1 +, Ly-2 − and Ia −, whereas the suppressor T cells of antibody formation are Ly-1 −, Ly-2 + and Ia +.
