Abstract

Based on introduction and analysis of approach power compensation system (APCS) of carrier-based aircraft, the design problem of approach power compensation system via discrete variable structure control theory is researched and figured out with the use of discrete variable structure control theory bases on disturbance compensation. Furthermore, the chattering phenomenon of the proposed variable structure control system is weakened by using hyperbolic tangent function instead of conventional sign function. Simulation results indicate that the new system owns well performance in path tracking and reducing the influence of airflow disturbance.
