Abstract

A discrete-time stochastic system depending on an unknown parameter and with small observation noise is considered in this paper. A quadratic variation test is proposed to detect the unknown system parameter. Then, based on the test result, asymptotic filters and computable adaptive asymptotically optimal controls are constructed. Finally, numerical experiments are undertaken regarding the above aspects.
